Business
Eric Bergerson commented
on his meeting(s) with Kenny Kameier (sp.). The
Northern Colorado Water Board has approved placement of structure and/or cover
at Horsetooth Reservoir. Committee and
The state federation tournament is scheduled for
April and Pete Marshall, Doug Johns, Jeremy Montoya and Jeff Colwell have paid
the tournament fees and are scheduled to go to Table Rock.
Bill Wilson distributed the 2002 club tournament
schedule.
Don Vaughn discussed the American Bass Anglers
Association Tournament Trail as well. Many of the club members are interested.
Pete Marshall needs copies of boat insurance
policies from all the boaters. Insurance policies need to have $100,000
accident coverage. Pete made it clear that if he doesn't have your insurance
policy, you will not fish. Pete also handed out copies of the rules and
regulations.
Membership dues are due in April if you plan on
fishing this year.
New
Business
Doug Johns needs volunteers for the next state
federation meeting. Doug also needs suggestions for the state federation. Scott
Shelodon held nothing back in regards to suggestions
for state team tournaments. Scott has posted a letter on the state federation
website. ESPN Outdoor Productions is also looking for input regarding the
federation level of the B.A.S.S. organization. Scott suggested more teamwork at
the state level.
Frank Villa has updated the website to include a members only page. Frank needs pictures and articles for the
website.
Bill Wilson discussed the fishing restrictions
imposed on Carter Lake. The restrictions were detailed and if anyone is
considering fishing at
Bill Wilson also has Krazy
Bait Company information. Orders for the attractants will be taken at the end
of the meeting.
Ben Lind reluctantly agreed to present a spinnerbait demonstration at the next meeting.
Shaun Solomon volunteered to divulge his knowledge
of "jigs and pigs" to the club.
