CBC Meeting Minutes

Pres. Villa opened the meeting with 10 members and no guests present.

Secretarys Report: Pres Villa read the minutes from the Sept. meeting.

Treasurers Report: None given-Treasurer not present.

Tournament Directors Report: Next tournament is at Pueblo Res-18/19 Oct. 2008. Check website for further info.

Conservation Directors report: Nothing to report.

Old Business:

Full Moon Open: Bill Wilson gave the date of the 2009 FMO as 8 Aug. 2009.

C.A.S.T.: Nothing to Report.

Casting Kids: Nothing scheduled.

Website: Results have been updated.

Federation BOD Meeting is being hosted by CBC at Sportsmans Warehouse at 1PM on 15 Nov. CBC members are invited to attend.

Habitat Project at Lone Tree: Paperwork must be completed to apply to The Colo. Sec. of State for a Tax ID Nuimber to get both the Federal and State monies since CBC is considered a Non-Profit organization. $300 was approved by the membership for this paperwork.

City of Greeley Ponds: Nothing to Report.

Colo. Youth Organization (Louie Swift Ponds): Tabled again until some officials from CYO can be contacted.

New Business:

A donation of $300 to The ALS Fund and 3 donations of $100 each to the food banks of Loveland, Lariner and Weld Counties was approved by the membership.

Nominations for CBC's 2009 officers were taken and are as follows:

Secretary: Perry Flot, Doug Johns, Robert Ross, Craig McMillin

Tournament Director: Perry Flot, Robert Ross, Bill Wheedleton

Conservation Director: Eric Bergersen

Youth Director: Frank Villa

Nominations will still be open at the November meeting.

CBC members are urged to pay their 2009 club dues next month and not wait until the first of the year.

Meeting adjourned and a raffle followed.
