CBC minutes
President Frank Villa called the meeting to order at
New member Dave Colson was voted into the club.
-Secretary report -Steve Barbee read the March minutes. A motion was made 2nd ed and passed to accept the March minutes.
- Treasurers report- Bill Wilson filled in for Brett and reported that there is 1407.28 FMO 966.57 in the CBC general fund and 225.00 in the jr.bass club account. A motion was made 2nd ed and passed to accept the treasures report.
- Tournament director report- Ron Mayer reported that our
first mini is coming up April 24th at Lone Tree. Fees have gone up
since last year to $15 for tournament fees (minis) with non-boaters paying $10
gas. Weekend tournaments have also gone up to $60 tournament fees, and $20 per
day for gas for non-boaters.
-Conservation Report- Eric Bergesen has stepped down as conservation
director, the office is available anyone interested contact Frank. The dock
project at Lone Tree is still in the works. We are a little bit shy of money,
but the federation may donate $1000.00. The
-Old Business-
-FMO- Bill Wilson reported that there is a new dead line for sponsor money, which is May 1st. in order to distribute flyers, order t-shirts. The FMO committee is also working on getting radio air time sponsors. 92.5 The wolf may be interested. K99 has also been approached, but we have not heard any response.
-CAST- Bill Wilson reported there is a cast meeting in mid April. Volunteers are needed boaters and non-boaters to help out from 7-1 June 2nd at the CAST event. Matsuo has also made a $2000.00 donation.
-Casting Kids- Albert Gonzales has stepped up to be the new youth director. We had 64 kids go thru the casting kid’s booth at the Bud events center on April 1st.
-JR. Bass- the club is doing well the singed up 2 new
members this month which makes 10 total. Their first tournament is sat. April
21st at swift ponds in
-May 5th Event- CBC is working with Dave Sanchez for the event 80-100 kids are expected to participate. Their will be casting kids event, and CBC will run the fishing portion. Blake donated hooks and bobbers for the kids. A motion was made 2nded and passed that CBC will donate the night crawlers.
-Website- nothing to report.
-Classic- George reminded the classic participants that the 68.00 hotel fee is due he has the phone# for the hotel if early reservations are needed,
-Federation- CBC had no representation at the recent BOD
meeting. Discussion is still continuing on moving
-Life Jacket Project- we are still waiting until memorial weekend.
-Habitat- city of
-Communications- nothing to report.
-New Business- 1st mini at Lone Tree meet at the
parking lot no later that
-May 5th there will be a multi species tournament at Horse tooth.

-Rob Kelly- is the new store manager at Sportsman’s Warehouse he would like CBC to help out with booths in the future to promote kids fishing.
