CBC Meeting Minutes
Pres. Villa opened the meeting with 15 members and 2 guests present.
New applicants for members in CBC were voted into the club. They are Anthony Smith, Ray Archer and Greg Gillan. The 3 new members were also assigned mentors. Anthony Smith to Robert Ross, Ray Archer to Mike Hubbard and Greg Gillan to Bill Wilson.
Secretary's report: No report as the Secretary was not present.
Treasurers Report: In the absence of the Treasurer, Bill Wilson reported that CBC has $451.74 in its regular account, $2118.86 in The Full Moon Open account and $144.92 in The Fighting Fishsticks account.
Tournament Directors report: First of all, Tournament
Director Ron Mayer appointed the following individuals as Assisyant Tournament
Directors, Ben Lind and Bill Wilson. Ron then went on to report that he had
recieved word that CBC would be required to pay a tournament fee of $300 if CBC
wanted to hold its Club Classic at lake Powell in April as planned. This amount
was considerably more than had been anticipated and much discussion followed.

Conservation Directors Report: No report as The Conservation Director was not present.
Old Business:
Bill Wilson reported that the fee for The Full Moon Open Tournament this year is $225. He also made a motion that CBC go ahead and pay Larimer Cty. the fee. Motion seconded and passed. Bill also stated that Doc's Restaurant, where CBC holds its winter meetings, is now on board as a sponsor of The FMO. Bill is also working with a local radio station for radio coverage of The FMO and urged members to start recruiting sponsors for The FMO.
C.A.S.T.: Bill Wilson explained the CAST event to the new members.
Casting Kids: Blake Muhlenbruck reported that The City of Greeley has asked CBC to hold a Casting Kids event at the city's Kids Fishing Day event on 3 May. Pres. Villa will follow up.
Jr. Bassmasters: Pres. Villa is presently updasting their tournament schedule.
Website: This year the website will be set up so that individuals can register online for The FMO as an option. Mike Hubbard will see to this option.
Tournament Rules: The CBC Tournament Rules 12 thru 21 were covered by Pres. Villa. Most were left with no chabges. members are urged to check the website for more information. A proposed addition to Rule #3 was proposed covering rod length, boat and engine size. BASS rules will apply.
City of
Bylaws Changes: Bill Wilson read thru the proposed bylaw changes. Members are urged to check the website for these changes. The changes will be voted on at the Feb. meeting.
BOD Meeting:
STQT: Mike Hubbard, Steve Long, Ben Lind, John Wilder, Perry Flot and Frank Villa will attend. Mike Hubbard gave a brief description of The STQT for new members. Bill Wilson made a motion that CBC give an entry into The FMO as CBC's contribution to The STQT's door prizes. Motion seconded and passed.
Habitat Projects: Bill Wilson reported on the progress of getting the boat docks purchased and installed at Lone Tree Res. The price for the 40' dock was slightly higher than expected, so a 32' dock was decided on. A meeting with DOW is scheduled for next week for the final decision. Blake Muhlenbruck suggested that CBC contact the states "Fishing is Fun" program to see about getting money from The State of Colo. to help with the purchase of the boat docks. Bill Wilson to follow up.
New Business:
Bill Wilson has discounted tickets to the Denver Boat Show and also has the new shirts members ordered.
Ron Mayer made a motion to make Rob Kelly, the manager of Sportsmans Warehouse, an honorary member of CBC. Motion seconded, motion passed.
Discussion was held as to whether the club should renew the warranty on the club's scales. It was decided not to do so.
A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting-meeting adjourned.
Those club classic qualifiers present, chose Pueble Res. as the
location for the club classic. The dates are 31 May-
