Centennial Bass Club

Meeting called to order by Vice President Steve Barbee at 6:05 pm.

17 members and 4 guests present.

Two of the guests were Nick Marusin and Patrick Lantis. They are members of the CSU fishing team. The team has four members. They will be fishing in the FLW college series. You can learn more about this at collegefishing.com and they also have a facebook site under Colorado State Bass Team.

Secretary report: Minutes were read from February meeting. Motion and second to approve. Motion passed.

Treasurer report: Jr. Club - $473.46. FMO - $3629.07. CBC - $1738.52. Motion and second to approve. Motion passed

TD report: Three permits have been received, FMO, Flaming Gorge and Box Butte. No permit is needed for Norton, as it is a card tournament. Need a copy of proof of insurance to Robert before first tournament.

Conservation report: We are still in need of a conservation Director.

Old Business:

Money from December’s bagging for tips has been deposited into the general fund. Saturday, February 27th event made $322.30, it will be deposited also.

Standard Operating Procedures for the FMO are in the process of being redone.

Hook cutters and  rules are ordered and paid for. These will be for sale to club Members for $20. Please pay at the April meeting.

Club Library: Perry has not received any contributions to this yet.

FMO – Permit is in, waiting on insurance. Open up registration to Club on April 5th and public on April 7th. Sponsor levels are $100, $300 and $500. This gives the sponsor advertising on t-shirts, flyers and link on the website. Please have these turned in by June 1st. Possibility of new sponsor through Chad LaChance. Bill and Gary are meeting with and will have more information at a later date. Jr. club would like to put on a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning as a fundraiser. Talked about doing some fun additions to the program, tagged fish or dink award. Next FMO meeting, April 6th at 5:00pm.

CAST – June 5th at Horsetooth, 14th annual. Registration for kids will start in late April.

Federation – STQT this week at Lake Havasu, Mike will try to update tournament standings daily on the Federation website.

Habitat -  City of Greeley website has been updated that the project is still moving forward.

New Business

55 gallon drum of Mercury premium plus for $800. Not enough interest.

Shirts and jackets – Loveland – 10th Street Embroiders has the club images on file.

Ice out tournament, March 27th, one day at Pueblo. $100 per team. $20 big bass. Contact Colorado Bass Masters for more information.

Larimer County Fish Posium, April 24th and 25th at The Ranch. CBC has been offered a free booth. See if Jr. Club is interested in manning the booth. Need volunteers from CBC that can help.

Liquid Power Sports – Does Boat prepping, jell coat repair and boat detailing. Referred by Chad LaChance.
