Meeting called to order at 6:08 by President Mike Hubbard.

There were 20 Members and 2 guests.

2 new members voted into club. Chad Brekke and Mark Powers.

Secretary report was read. Motion and second to approve. Motion passed.

Treasurer Report – Jr. Club - $473.46, FMO fund - $3629.03, CBC general - $1294.80

Conservation – We are in need of a Conservation Director

Old Business

Discussion about an introductory tournament to the Club, Icebreaker or recruitment. Motion and second to make the June 1, 2010 Mini tournament a membership recruitment night. Motion passed. No points will be awarded for the Clubs year-end standings. A business meeting will follow.

BPS bagging for tips – Total $1282.10. This money goes for prizes and gifts for the contestants and helpers for our local CAST event. The Club will be given another opportunity to bag again at the Spring fishing classic at Bass Pro. Bill Wilson will have more details and be asking for volunteers at a later date.

Dead fish penalty and by-law change. The changes made to the rules and by-laws need to be updated on the website. 

FMO – First meeting held tonight for 2010 FMO. Will be doing the online sign up with either Active or BASS. Will be able to ask T-shirt size to reduce having too many extras. Entry fee will be $150 plus administrative fee from the online company plus an optional $20 for big bass. Larimer County fees are expected to remain the same. There is a 50-boat cap. Two committees were started, Protest committee headed by Bill Wheedleton and sponsorship committee headed by Gary Dyekman and Bill Wilson. Robert Ross will serve as Associate Director.

CAST – Push to have enough boats to support all kids that would like to sign up.

Jr. Bass Club – 18 kids signed up could possibly have 30 this year. Larimer County Mentor tournament May 1stor 8th. Need boats to help out. Planning 4 club tournaments.

Website – Need to update roster for 2010.

Federation – Need volunteers for BOD meeting January 16th. Ben, Mike, Trevor and possibly Frank. Gander Mountain in Aurora at 12:00 State team meeting. 1:00 pm for board meeting. Jay still has one trolling motor and 5 cases of oil available for sale. Topics to be covered, Rotating lakes for STQT. Now the format consists of the Clubs picking lakes and submitting their choices for vote at the 3rd quarter BOD meeting. Proposed would be to select 3 lakes and to have a rotating schedule with those lakes. CBC will vote to leave it as is. Should the Federation continue to buy trolling motors to sell as a fundraiser? CBC votes yes. Should the location of the STQT for 2010 be changed from Lake Havasu to a Southern Texas lake? CBC vote is yes.

New Business

Should FMO monies be used to help fund the Classic for 2011. Discussion was tabled until next meeting. 

Tournament schedule – should the June 12-13 that is scheduled for Pueblo be changed to Norton? After much discussion there was a motion and 2nd to change the location of the June 12-13 weekend tournament from Pueblo to Norton. Motion passed.

Awards – AOY – 10-Robert Ross, 9-Mike Hubbard, 8-Steve Barbee, 7-tim Martinez, 6-Gary Dyekman, 5-Bill Wheedleton, 4-Perry Flot, and Tie for 2nd –Ben Lind and Bill Ross, 1-Greg Gillen.

Rookie of Year – Dustin Laber

2009 Classic – 3-Robert Ross, 2-Bill Wheedleton, 1-Ben Lind.
