CBC Meeting Minutes

Pres. Lind called the meeting to order with 8 members present and 1 guest, Blake Mullenbruck.

Secretary’s Report: The Secretary read the minutes from the Aug. meeting. Motion made and seconded to accept secretary’s report-motion carried.

Treasurers Report: In the absence of the treasurer, Bill Wilson reported that the club has $2623.34 in its treasury. Motion made and seconded to accept the treasurers report-motion carried.

Tournament Directors Report: In the absence of the tournament director, Pres. Lind reported that the club's last tournament is this coming weekend at Carter Lake. Members are encouraged to check the website for details.

Old Business:

Full Moon Open Committee: No meeting was held this month. The FMO Committee will hold its next meeting at 6PM on 4 Oct. 2005 prior to the regularly scheduled CBC monthly meeting.

Federation BOD Meeting: Jeff Colwell gave an interesting detailed report of the BOD Meeting held in Durango Colo. on 20 Aug. 2005.

CBC will host the 4th Quarter BOD meeting on 19 Nov. 2005 at Sportsmans Warehouse. Pres. Lind asked for volunteers to help with that meeting. Pres. Lind also reported that members be thinking of any money making ideas that would help fund the 2007 Divisionals to be held in Colo. Much discussion followed. Pres. Lind tabled the matter until the Oct. meeting.

Youth Directors Report-Casting for Kids. Pres. Lind will call Craig McMillin. Report tabled until next meeting.

Pres. Lind reported that the location for the 2006 State Team Qualifier will be The Grand Lake of The Cherokees SE of Miami Okla. Dates to be announced.

DOW Appreciation Day: Date will be 30 Sept. 2005-location is Chatfield Res. Pres. Lind asked for volunteers, preferably boaters, to help out. Bill Wilson will arrange for food for the atendees.

Members are reminded to check the CBC website for current standings.

VP Villa wants to start a Jr. Bassmasters Club. Any interested members are asked to contact VP Villa via e-mail.

CBC has been invited to work with Denver Bassmasters on Casting for Kids. Youth Director to follow up.

New Business:

Bill Wilson is the chairperson for the 2006 Full Moon Open. 2 dates were suggested, one in July and one in August. Much discussion followed. The July date was rejected by members. The Aug. date, 9 Aug. would have 2 weekends available for The FMO. A motion was made and seconded to have 9 Aug. 2006 as the date for The FMO-motion carried.

Bill Wilson suggested that the club donate $300 to The ALS walk in Don Vaughn's wife's name. Some discussion followed. Bill Wilson mad the motion to do so and Pete marshall seconded-motion carried. Bill wilson will follow up and report back to CBC.

Jeff Colwell will host a fish fry at his residence following this week's tournament at Carter Lake.

The raffle was tabled until next meeting due to the small turnout at this months meeting.

There being no further business before the club, a motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting-meeting adjourned.

Next scheduled CBC meeting will be 4 Oct. 2005 at The Gamblers Steakhouse at 7PM. FMO Committee meeting is at 6PM-same date.
